Silje is the visionary behind Bipper. She founded the company in the fall of 2007 after entering the business plan competition, Venture Cup, with her idea of a safe mobile solution for kids.

Silje is passionate about everything she does, and while Bipper is her first business venture, she has founded a number of international idealistic projects. Through her idealistic work she has had the opportunity to work and debate with people like the Dalai Lama, Hilary Clinton, Queen Noor of Jordan and Anita Roddick, often along side young grass root activists from around the world. Silje has won a number of awards for her involvements, most recently the Female Entrepreneur of the Year and Best Young Business Leader (top 10).

Silje holds an International Baccalaureate from United World College of the Atlantic, and a Master in Strategy and Management from the Norwegian School of Economics.
